Bagleys is a group of companies and individuals who specialise in Rental Management, Independent Mortgage Advice and Landlord Portfolio Development.
This website was custom designed and hand coded to the client's specification, including a custom back end CMS allowing members of staff to quickly and easily manage property listings on the website, as well as maintaining and updating webpage text throughout the site.
SEO was a major part of the design brief for the site. Features of the site include SEO-friendly URLs using Apache mod_rewrite and a self-updating sitemap.xml file to ensure the site is being correctly spidered at all times.

The official website for Midlands-based funk-rock band Lazy J, serving up a mixture of dynamic web pages (including gig listings, news articles and blog entries), streaming audio files and image galleries. There is also an integrated e-commerce solution enabling the band to sell merchandise via the website.
Behind the scenes, the site features a custom-built PHP / MySQL CMS enabling members of the band to manage website content autonomously.
Thanks to a modular construction, the site can be easily upgraded, a recent example being the Twitter feed integrated into the site's home page.

Computershare Voucher Services (formerly known as Busy Bees Childcare Vouchers) is the largest dedicated childcare voucher provider in the UK with an annual turnover of £300 million.
The new Computershare Voucher Services website is built in Microsoft MOSS / Sharepoint and integrates with Computershare's international network of Sharepoint sites across multiple business units.
Having managed the development and launch of this website in October 2009, my continuing involvement includes responsibility for content management, building of custom MOSS web parts and integration with PHP functionality from the company's previous website.

In 2008, I was responsible for launching a new database-driven version of the Busy Bees Childcare Vouchers website. The site was hand coded in PHP and was a powerful and robust sales tool for the company, generating traffic levels well in excess of 1 million visits per year.
As the site evolved and grew I developed an extensive back end administration system which was used by various departments throughout the company.
Although the site itself is now offline following the rebranding of Busy Bees Childcare Vouchers into Computershare Voucher Services in October 2009, a demo of the website's back end interface is avilable to try, with sample data ranging from September 2008 - September 2009.
